ハーモニーグラスやトレメローズと同郷の英エセックス州で活躍した本格のヴォーカル＆インストゥルメンタル・グループ！当時「Four Seasons meets Beach Boys」と謳われたヴォーカル・ハーモニーと、管楽器アレンジの名人、キース・マンスフィールド編曲によるエレガントなソウリッシュ・ビートの絶妙なブレンドを聴かせてくれます。他のハーモニー・グループと違い、モータウンや'60sフィリー風のポップで存在感のある「踊れる」リズムを取り入れたサウンドが彼らのスタイルでした。また、66年にアメリカのハプニングスと同時期に"See You In September"のカヴァー（オリジナルはThe Tempos）を競作したのも彼らです。ロネッツやフォー・シーズンズのカヴァー・ヴァージョン、ノーザン・ソウルにアレンジされたオリジナル・ナンバーもエクセレント！山下達郎さんにSSBでベタ誉めされてしまった作品でもあります。素直に嬉しかったです。もちろん世界初CD化。
